DELIVERY TO COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE UK

Orders placed after 14:00 on a Friday, on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday will be processed the next working day.

During busy periods, it may take us a little longer to despatch your items.

Once your order has been despatched from our distribution centre, you will be emailed a tracking number so that you can follow the progress of your order.

PLEASE NOTE:

A signature may be required on delivery. If you are unavailable, please nominate a secure delivery address where someone is available to sign.

We cannot accept any liability for any delivery instructions which you give to the delivery company. If, for example, you ask the delivery company to leave your order in a different location to the one given at the time of your order (e.g. in a shed or garage, or with a neighbour), we cannot accept responsibility if you fail to receive the order

DUTY & CUSTOMS

Deliveries to addresses in the UK, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and EU: all applicable import taxes, sales taxes and duties are included in the price of the order.

Deliveries to all other addresses: all applicable import duties, clearance fees, brokerage fees, local sales taxes or other additional charges are the responsibility of the customer and will need to be paid by the customer on receipt of the shipment. In addition, local customs practices may require you to provide additional information to clear your order. These rules vary by country. Your local government determines duty and customs charges. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

Selected products are for UK delivery only and cannot be delivered internationally due to customs and duty restrictions.

Taiwan Customs have announced plans to verify the authenticity of the names of importers during the import clearance process. This is to enforce regulations which restrict the frequency of imports.

Please note that this verification will only apply to low value Business-to-Consumer (B2C) shipments i.e. CIF value NTD50,000 (USD1,666) and below. Business-to-Business (B2B) shipments are excluded. In order for Customs to be able to verify the authenticity of the names:

All non-B2B importers need to register on the following government platform https://eccs.tradevan.com.tw/ with the following information required:

Full Name.

Local Taiwan Phone number (note: the platform will verify local phone numbers only).

Local Taiwan ID number (for Taiwanese citizens) or resident certificate number or passport number (for non-Taiwanese citizens, only apply for local phone number owner).

Address where shipments will be sent to.

Once registered, Customs will use the local telephone numbers of importers which are included in the shipment details to verify the authenticity of the importer.

B2C shipments whose importers are not registered may experience higher inspection rate on import, hence subjected to potential delays.

Please ensure the following in order to prevent unnecessary delays:

Ensure that we have consignee’s local phone numbers for their shipments to Taiwan.

Please communicate to customers to register in Taiwan as soon as possible.

If a local phone number cannot be provided, the shipment will possibly be on hold and pending additional information obtained by the local DHL Taiwan team from the receiver.

Detailed processes and go-live plans have yet to be shared by Customs however, a trial is planned in July 2018 to test this for low value dutiable shipments only (i.e. with a value between NTD2,000-NTD50,000).
